Sorry for your loss. 13-1/2 is a VERY full life for a golden, which she enjoyed because of the wonderful life you provided for her. So many in doggie heaven are so envious when she tells them of all the places she has swum and run in.
For all who have lost a pet, please do consider adopting from a local shelter, where many many great companions can be found, each grateful to have a new (or maybe first) home.
