Right from the start I knew it would be difficult to let this unit go. I think that some individuals under value the importance of synergy between amp and pre-amp. Whether one prefers McIntosh, Audio Research, D'Agostino, Burmester........ I think pairing products from on manufacturer is hard to beat. Mixing and matching is very hit and miss.
