I've been working on the (less than stelar) stock firewire cables supplied with my DCS stack and have come to realize that i should probably get better quality 1394 cables! After 2 days of misery (troubleshooting) I fixed the problem (loose connection) with a pair of pliars! And that's after connecting it in dual AES mode but realizing the sound was not as good...
I'm STILL going to get better 1394 cables though - and that's what led me to this excellent site! Thanks for being here...through reading things here and there I learned a great deal.
