This is one of the important things about good big speakers. A lot of big speakers sounds big all the time even if the instrument is small. A good big speaker sounds big and pictures a big scene when it is like that, but makes a small instrument sound as small as it is. Sonus fabers big speakers have this ability. Never heard the new Aida but the former Aida and Lilium, Il Cremonese and The Sonus faber are doing this right, due to my taste at least.
