Is this the correct question you wish answered?
Perhaps you may wish to know which would pair better with your desired speakers?
A tube amplifier is much better at swinging volts rather than solid state which does better at current.
Of course none of this matters if there is no difference in sound.
I find the MC275 VI, of which I own two for disclosure to be much more resolving in the midrange with better micro dynamics and more of a palpable presence compared to any of Mc’s SS amplifiers.
That said I find the SS to be slightly more extended on treble but I still prefer the sound of the tubes.
Bass is fuller on the bottom with tubes but is deeper and tighter with SS.
I don’t think you will go wrong with either but they will have different characters. Neither is perfect nor is one better.
That said I would expect the MC452 to be the SS equivalent of the MC275 based on sound quality rather than the 152/301 twins.
Again don’t be fooled by the numbers, the most important watt is the first watt. It’s to this one you always have to listen.
