IMHO, vendor lock in and having to re-buy is not something I am or ever will be comfortable with or willing to take the obvious bait off the hook for. Redbook, including all XRCD formats and SACD are enough.
Someone was quoted as saying MQA is better for vendors, reviewers and music labels....I agree.
