Hi frisqo,
The instrument mentioned by TommyC is a simple voltmeter. Any voltmeter or multimeter could do
the same job.
However what is more important is
the cleanliness of the sinewave of your power. (The PS units are
clean power supplies.)
To check this,
you'd need an oscilloscope; a simple voltmeter cannot do the job.
