If you intend on using a streamer for Tidal, Spotify or other subscriber services, the MB50 is excellent. As with all streamers, it is dependent on the strength of your WiFi signal. If your signal is weak, you'll need a hardwire connection via the recommended usb/ethernet adaptor. My experience with hi-res music files through the Play Fi app is very limited. Depends on how you intend to use the MB50.
