What I recall reading is the extra bass panel area that is added combines with what is already in the 3.7's. So this all acts as one creating a larger bass panel like the 20.7. At least that is what I remember. I cheated tonight with my 3.7i's and connect my 2 JL fathom 110's. I have been running solo a while dialing in the 3.7i's.
