Rob.......That is the same combo I have set up in my living room system, one JL Audio Fathom f113 with a pair of PMC EB1i speakers. Like you, the sub has been dialed in carefully and is invisible with the exception of an extended firmness to the lowest octave. At lower volumes the Fathom supports the texture and authority of the lowest bass frequencies in a positive way. The EB1i's are no slouch when it comes to producing deep solid bass on their own, but the f113 enriches the texture of deep bass to my liking.
