Congratulations! I agree with your dealer--your room is big enough, and you will not have too much bass. I do not have 800s, but I have had problems with too much bass in smaller rooms with subwoofers--the deepest sound waves that your dealer mentioned are too long for the room and they end up bouncing off of each other and/or the walls. But you should be fine.

You might think about a rug for the tile floor--but that would be for any speakers, not just the 800s
