I use Boulderlink between my 2010 and 2060 and when I power off the 2010, the 2060 goes into standby. I do not completely power it off. Standby is sufficient -- it does not need to "warm up like tubes". It is entirely Class-A, but it's "Boulder Class-A" which you should read about if you have anything above a 1000 series Boulder amp. It will not heat up your room unnecessarily when it's idle.
Boulder 2010, Boulder 2060, dCS Rossini, Wilson Alexia Krell S1200U 3D, Wilson Watch & Surrounds. 3x Halo JC-1's, C.A.P.S. PIPELINE, Velodyne HGS18x2, Sanyo PLV300 Proj, Gray Wolf II 96" Screen.
