And Jérôme, thanks again for your hospitality!
You keep on discovering interesting gear and people.
You confirm my impression: the Harbeths will make room for a pair of Gilles' creations.
There is simply no going back after the comparison.
But I do have a question: for your really large living room, wouldn't you take a speaker that is a little bit bigger than the one you're thinking of?
I mean with the larger woofer, e.g. the Altec 416A or even the 515B.
These would allow you to go down to 20 Hz and really do move more air.
Or am I simplifying too much?

Anyhow, the money from the Harbeths will be more than enough to cover the expenses for the new speakers.
