Joe / Serge, the Momentum Stereo arrived last Saturday when I picked up the MX-R's. The owner offered me to take the unopened box home, but I had allready lugged the MX-R's into the car and I would have had to drive to the warehouse. I was not going to lug them out again and I wanted to listen to the Ayre amps.
They have been running it this week, so I guess it may have 25 hours on it? Interestly the guy at the shop said for the first few hours it has no bass
very unlike Krell - I would have to guess that would be initial run in.
I will run it 24/7 on low volume CD repeat for the following 100 hours and then listen a bit more critically.
As always, YMMV as it will be hooked up with a SE pre amp - the amps should be able to show their overall characteristics regadless.
