So, I am trying to find the hum gremlin(s) in a new install.
It has come down to the RG6 coming from the wall. And only Zeus would probably know where in the hell it is coming from.
So the question is - do those RG6 isolators like the
RGPC "Eliminator" actually work? Is that the best solution?
Also, the projector is sending off some hum when it starts up. Using a cheater plug solves 90% of the issue (there is still very minor noise coming over the HDMI and Component cables), but would something like the
Ebtech HumX work to clear this up? I mainly ask because I hate the idea of leaving the cheater plug there (it's ugly, for starters...)
