With my Magnepan 20.7 one year anniversary just past.. I am thinking about finally replacing the amplifier I had kept that I bought with the previous Magnepan 3.6 speaker I had... A Bryston 4B-SSTē.
Most of my thoughts have been to getting either a 14B3 Bryston, or a pair of Bryston 7B3 amps.
However I am fascinated by the Carver 350 amps. And just as odd, in a 'synchronistic' kind of way, my Magnepan/Bryston dealer 'magically now is carrying Carver... Who would have thought???
I am not ready to run out and buy anything right now.. but I am thinking about it. (usually I think about stuff for months.. years.. then suddenly do it)
So I am thinking about these Carver Crimson 350 amps.
My dealer does not have those as demo items just the Carver 275. Which , when I am closer to being ready to buy, I could probably borrow for a few days.
So no conclusions, just an idea.._
