I want to clarify the comment I made regarding 300B "bass slam" versus the GM-70's.
As you may know, the 300B's are really designed for a 16-ohm speaker and at least 96-98DB sensitivity, or the amp is being compressed. So my (94db) Coincident Pure Referrence speakers will limit their bass.
With the 18w capability of the new Shindo D'Yquem, I'd expect to get more bass slam while enjoying the "dlilcate presentation" of the lower watt 300B.
I'll keep you posted as I demo the D'Yquem.
