Interesting observation.
When my local Sonus Faber dealer hosted an event introducing the Il Cremonese and Amati Tradition using Audio Research electronics and a DCS stack, I found them too bright for my tastes. I friend who went with me to the event agreed. I wasn’t sure where the problem lay—from the speakers, the pairing of the electronics, cables, AC power quality, or something else that day. In light of that, this is the dealer where I auditioned my Amati Futura and subsequently bought them from.
