I asked Peter about this via email and as expected he responded quickly. Here is his reply:
"
If you DON’T swap arm often then the fluid is a good idea to stop the rocking. Use JUST enough in the cup to stop the headshell from rocking on ECCENTRIC records."
New dampening fluid is on the way. I'll give this a try.
