After some experimentation, I found that the Bridge II sounded better than the USB input. That also got the computer out of the equipment rack, tidying things up a bit.

I plan to connect it to my laptop via USB, and also from my Oppo 205 to the DS via Wireworld Coax cable, and then Wireworld XLR from DS to my Marantz surround 8805A (I think the DAC in the DS would be better than the one in my Oppo 205 or Marantz). I am also thinking about subscribing to Roon. Are you using Roon?
