Specifically there will be audio files copied over the data transmission using the TCP/IP protocol at a 1GBps speed. TCP/IP was specifically designed to guarantee the transmission of data, even in the face of error. It is the same protocol making this website even possible.



Using a higher grade ($1,000) CAT6a/7 cable vs. cheaper ($15) CAT6a cable makes absolutely no difference at all in this specific use case.

Can you mention a case or cases where a higher grade ($$$$) Ethernet cable makes a difference?
