Yes, but you will have some of the best built and without doubt truly STATE-OF-THE-ART front end. Later, you need a Burmeter source, because it takes the Burmester sound a little further. And that sound is organic, vibrant in a living sense and totally without grain, smudge or bloat. In short, I believe Burmester without a doubt makes the best electronics in the world. We are small in numbers, but we make up for it in the "goose-bump" factor. Seriously, I cannot just sit down and listen for a few songs becuase I get caught up in the music. I have even began to listen to songs on cd's that I really did not care about with my old system. When you buy Burmester, it is as if you received a new master recording of all your albums. Congrat's Joe because you deserve it. I will soon join you in that hallowed group of 077 owners. I also like the polished metal look because it actaully blends in quite nice with any decor.
