Hello. This was posted over a year ago, but I would like to make a few comments about this series. First, the wife and I just finished watching the series as it is available for streaming on HULU. The series consists of 12 episodes and follows the original 24 series format in which each episode follows directly in sequence. The new cast is great and does a fantastic job of developing their characters. The series is set in Washington D.C. and the CTU returns to address national security threats like previous seasons of 24. The series concludes nicely at the end of the the 12 episodes. There is no Jack Bauer. Finally, unfortunately just recently Fox network announced that this specific series has been canceled, but they may continue the 24 series in the future under a different framework. Enjoy the show if you like the 24 franchise.

Special guest Tony Almeida returns in the latter part of the series with an interesting role.
