Both my Ariens were 10hp updraft carb types with Tecumseh motors with plug in electric starters. One was from the early 70's the other from 99-2000. I suppose a 9/28 Honda would've been more fair comparison. But I went with a 13/32 as I wanted an upgrade in both clearing width and performance.
