Just checked back into this forum - thanks guys for the collective
The picture is actually an etching (paint on etched metal plates to canvas) called "La Voile" (the Sail).
Paul Cloutier is the local artist. His stuff is in a lot of Canadian corporate and personal galleries. I believe in the Louvre etching section as well.
I just like the shapes, the colors, the frame and matting. Not an art collector - unless it has tubes...
