Purely speculating here but since It seem It will be a new product, maybe, just maybe, It will be the start of a brand new line with new chassis and a more modern aesthetic going away a little from the vintage classic Accuphase look.
Luxman does both already so maybe Accuphase is trying that too. We will know more at the next Tokyo audio show...
