And thanks for the response. I hope to listen to both the Q3 and S5 at RMAF next month.
I've had a pair of Q3s for a couple of months now. I'm using a first generation Gamut D200 amp with it. I bought a new Spectral 30SS preamp, and am now looking for a new amplifier. I had thought about the Spectral 260 stereo amp since the price is relatively right. Now I see Spectral is going to introduce the 400 monoblocks. I love the sound of my Spectral preamp, but I'm wondering about something like the stereo Constellation amp. Not having had a Spectral amp in my system, I'm wondering if the sound will be much leaner than with my Gamut, which actually I don't mind at all?
