Rascal 1-day started vomiting occasionally and Stopped eating.


I waited a few days and things didn't improve as we both thought maybe he simply ate something he shouldn't have.
(And we don't leave anything in the way of food lying around so it was puzzling)


Anyway, I decided to take him to our Primary Vet.
They checked him and did what they could on their level.
It was (Highly-Suggested) I take him to the (Experts) at Blue Pearl Animal Clinic.


I went directly to Blue Pearl thank-goodness !!!
Every one of the businesses is really close to one another and also to where we live.


After multiple different types of Scans turned out his intestine had a Blockage.
To correct the situation he had to have that Blockage Surgically Removed.
All went A-OK ...........


The next thing that I had NOT-a-CLUE could happen was Rascal was not eating.
Turns out a cat will sometimes under the right conditions simply STOP-EATING and will NOT start back Automatically.
I decided after talking with them (Blue Pearl Surgeon) to leave Rascal with them and they then gave him Medicine to Stimulate his Appetite.
Finally, he did eat one evening and the next morning and I received the call to come get the Big-Red-Boy.


I picked him up and actually carried the HUGE Pet Carrier up-stairs to the center hallway and faced the carrier opening to his room.
He looked around and saw he was in his house and was looking at his room and also his Food-Containers and Watering System.
He walked right straight to his food and started eating and both Cathy & I looked at one another with Big-Ole-Smiles.



It was an ordeal for Rascal of course but was definitely a Major Ordeal for Rascal's Human Companions.


All is A-OK now and he is slowly gaining his weight back once again.
