Thanks for the follow-up Mike. I totally understand about the heat issue. My 845 SET amp does a nice job of heating half of my house this time of year! If i ever decide to get away from tubes the Pass INT-30A is on my list.
I also find the swapping of the PC interesting. I read a review of the INT-30A and the same was said of that amp once a different/better PC was attached. Apparently it sounded like a different amp afterwards. I am a firm believer that cables can make a huge difference though, so I'm not surprised.
