Claret was the entry stage preamp model in europe for long time. There are some versions of it with tube rect. and without. ECC83 and ECC81 makes a classic circuit with cathode follower. No power suply regulation of course in this class but it was the time when new upper mono models like Catherine invented this. Sold as Kit and readymade unit.
It does not have that rich sound of some old models like Allegro but still outstanding compared to others and in its class. Good for small speakers and rooms. Beware of the Kit versions.
