This is clasic tube amp design stage of the early post WW2 era, Shindo has established his basic circuits at this stage an does variations on the theme. Later his own designs began to be more different from standard and his grown expertise lead to more complex circuits with more refinements.
Phono stages have been surprisingly constant in design with only variations in tube types but no different eq were used all the time. Line stages and Power supps are variables.
