Yesterday, my newly acquired Strads were set up by Emile, one of Ivan’s friends and his local go-to speaker setup person. Emile spent four hours at our home unpacking my Strads, moving my Amati Futura’s to our intimate home theater room, and then dialing in the Strads. Emile worked his magic on placement and maximizing the Strads in our non-dedicated family listening room.
To my ears, the Strads possesses a rich, textured, and balanced sound which my Amati Futura’s can’t match. The Strads are by far the best sounding speaker that I’ve ever owned. After just a couple of days of listening to my new Strads, I really question why SF dropped the Strad from their lineup.
