Ben, I can understand why you are saying this.

1) Your old Plasma was likely approaching (or passed) its Half-life, which would account for a perception difference in video quality.
2) You came from 720p.
3) You came from a Gen 1 720p.

Your impression is not necessarily because of 4k, but rather due to the myriad of advancements behind the scenes (not specifically resolution related).

However, the key thing is that you are happy! Goodness knows I am since now you are taking even more advantage of what Silenzio offers.
