Yes, Zu does the same thing. They inflate their sensitivity specs by 5-6 dB. Even Klipsch is doing it on some of the lower priced speakers.

Of course they may still be fine sounding speakers and work well with your amp.

The issue is if, say, someone with a Paradigm speaker spec'ed at 91 dB ditches it and purchases a Tekton or Zu spec'ed at 96 dB, they will find that there is no increase in volume at the same preamp settings. Because Paradigm specs are right on the money and the others inflate theirs so as to have greater appeal to those with low power amps.
