I seem to be settling on a Pass X250.8. A little different sound from the Classe. I like both very much, but as I said previously, in my room, the fan is the deciding factor. What is surprising to me (even after 55 years of audiophilia) is that two modern amps -- which both measure flat, I'm sure -- can sound so different: the Pass a but more up-front, the Classe laid back and unflappable.
