Not shocking to me, considering that (1) you'll find Monster featured in places like Best Buy and (2) Monster was essentially the first out of the "pricey" cable gate with a catchy cable brand name (there was, of course, Polk's "Cobra," but all those of us around at the time know what its nasty reactive characteristics did to amps--and the warranties that came with them ). I see Monster as the Bose of the cable market.
