I have about 1800 cd I have ripped. I have a synology 2 bay nas so once I was done ripping I removed one drive and put it in a safe place. I also gave a drive to a friend. My music is backed up.
I usually stream. Had been Tidal but now Qobuz. I don't have MQA on my DAC so Qobuz sounds better. Also more classical and jazz on Qobuz which I like. However, the 24, 96 and higher streams drop out at times. Tidal via Roon, HQ never drop out.

I might start purchasing some high rez downloads, but at $20 a file price vs Sublime at $20 a month??? Why buy. I will probably always have a subscription as its new material all the time.

My TT sounds like Butt compared to my digital. I am told I need to invest about $11K if I want to top my digital. I have maybe 30 records I really like. If I'm gonna go to that extreme, I will get an Otari 5050 and spend $9k on tapes.
