Another consideration, eventually I'd like to buy the D1X mono block - or whatever replaces D1. It's unfortunate that N01 doesn't have a digital output to connect to D1X.

IMHO, the K03X is a better sounding unit than the P05X however you may still want to run the K03X as a transport into your N01 as a test, it may sound better. Alternatively, the K01X is another good option to consider or saving/waiting a bit more for the K1 if that's possible with a bit of patience.
