Tony.......My baseline includes both the 300 watt McIntosh MC2301 mono tube amplifiers and the 600 watt McIntosh MC601 solid state amplifiers. These two different Class AB power amp designs offer me a solid reference by which to compare the Gato DIA-400 integrated amplifier. My experience with the DIA-400 has generated some downsizing thoughts.
