The Ultra SS' seem to VERY slightly shift the tonal balance toward the highs. The Ultra 5's produce no shift in tonal balance I can detect and bring all the positive effects of the Ultra SS to the extreme.

WOW, you have fell hard big time
For me that is a good thing. I don't feel any envy now for the 5's. My upper frequencies with the sweet cj gear can handle a bit more transparency in that region.
I forgot to ask. Ultra SS's hard hat up or down - any sonic difference you can detect.
