The Venom USB is quite a good cable for little money. It help me get much better results from my bedroom system. It was revealing enough to let me know I needed a better power cord for my DAC. I have the same DAC in the living room and splurged for a 2nd Delta NR power chord. This has really brought out the best from my DAC. I run PS Audio Nuwave DSDs.
As everyone recommends, try before you buy.

Actually, I wasn't. I think the Shunyata Alpha USB brings more of an improvement than a new DAC would. Or preamp...
I could be wrong, but I think Ivan's comment is supportive of that, as well.
