Your observations with respect to the improvements in focus, soundstage, and attack and sustain correspond to my experience with Ultra Minis supporting a wholly different equipment lineup. Most noticeable bang-for-buck resulted from placing the Minis (four in each instance) under my original-version Hydra and Sonographe power amp.
