Yup, and pressing, etc. I have stuff that sounds better on one format than the other, and other stuff that's the reverse. If you have decent gear on both types, you figure that out real quick.

The part that keeps me even interested in vinyl is that I never know when I'm going to find a pressing that is super quiet and dynamic, beating the digital version of something I love. It's rare that any new version of a digital recording comes out that is really much different than a previous version. Usually just louder.
