Dan, I used to practice this technique when I was more active with the sport and visited the range more frequently. I found it was no easy task to stay consistent and that certain handguns just fit your hand better are better balanced and point much more intuitively making it much easier. Many Glock models are certainly well designed and balanced so they point more naturally but that is all individual preference and of course burning through ammo with constant practice is the key to becoming more proficient. Back in the day when I used to reload, it was easy and relatively cheap to make up 500 rounds in a few hours and burn through them the next day.
