One rational for each amp on its own dedicated circuit is limiting the noise put back on the line by the amp itself. I run each of a pair of monoblocks into its own dedicated circuit then use a Shunyata Typhon plugged into the other outlet of the duplex for that circuit to reduce further reduce noise.
