Another renovation allowed me some adjustments to the theatre room. Essentially I was able to lift the ceiling height (and add a bulkhead to hide the projector). I also added a stage for the front equipment. Absolutely unbelievable how much difference the added volume in the ceiling space made to the acoustic properties of the room. Despite all the treatments, the sound is still worse than it was before the renovation.
