Have owned one PDK equipped Porsche in my life, a Cayman R where it kind of made sense since I wanted to explore some track driving in it where it is an advantage for 99% of the drivers other than pros. The rest were always manual.
Not much sense in driving a Porsche in traffic... But of course to each their own. I don't even understand the rev-matching feature, it's like people are too lazy to rev-match their downshifts or learn heel/toe technique?
Gotta have a row your own in a sports car, here is my ex R8 V10 with the proper "gated" manual.
Sadly they don't even make an R8 with a manual anymore.
