About 20 years ago my brother gave me a battery powered drill for Christmas. It also had a handy flashlight that accepted the same battery.
I grinned, said thank you and asked, "So, Barney, I'm not really sure what to do with this."
He said, "Bob, you're the only adult male I know that doesn't have a drill."
I still have it. It's still in the box. I wore the flashlight out.
I can, however, cook some seriously good food!
