Follow-up. I have had several long evenings of movie watching and music listening. Across the board, the JS-2 improves the Mytek Brooklyn DAC+. This includes vinyl playback through the MM phono option for the analog inputs.
I am using a Shunyata Delta NR power cord to the JS-2, fed off the Niagara 5000 and on a dedicated A/C line for the system, and it still helped bass resolution and "space" for playback. I can't comment on the Delta NR's impact since I haven't tried the OEM cord (yet). That will be the next experiment.
