I'm uncertain how much tubes break in vs how much I attune to their sound. Last year I purchased two pair of Gold Lion KT88s. I used one pair for over 100 hours, then listened very carefully to a couple of my favorite demo songs. Then I put in the brand new pair and immediately listened to those same songs again. I couldn't detect any differences.
At other times, I think I do hear some tube break-in. Uncertain. But this is why I immediately listened closely to the KT150s. Perhaps I will perceive some difference after a while. I can say that I am immediately impressed by them. I like the KT120s too.
